At the Universidad Industrial de Santander Barrancabermeja campus, the Forum of Candidates for student representation before the Superior Council, the University Welfare Committee and the Enrollment Committee was held, inviting the entire student community to learn about the profiles of those who aspire to these positions for the period 2024 – 2026.
“Participating in this forum has been very important for us as students. Listening directly to the candidates and learning about their proposals allows us to make an informed decision and think about the future of our university. We want representatives who really listen to us and work for our needs,” said Jairo Prince, an Electrical Engineering student who attended the event at the Barrancabermeja campus of the UIS.
The event provided a space for interaction and knowledge in which the candidates presented their visions and proposals, encouraging the active participation and commitment of students in making decisions that will impact the university community in the coming years.
This forum highlights the commitment of the UIS Barrancabermeja campus with transparency and the welfare of its student community, allowing students to have a key role in the selection of their representatives in these decision-making bodies.
