As part of the visit to the works of “Pactos Territoriales”, Lina María Barrera, ENTerritorio Manager toured the facilities of the modernization building of the Faculty of Health with the purpose of inspecting the state of progress of the same.
This inspection is part of the “Pacto Santander” visits, since the Faculty of Health is one of the 12 works being carried out in the department with resources from the National Government.
Sandra Yaneth Tibamosca, National Territorial Pact Advisor, Sonia Alejandra Velasco, Monitoring and Supervision Support Advisor, and Adriana Isabel Linares, Control, Monitoring and Supervision Support Advisor, participated in the visit.
The visit was accompanied by the UIS Rector, Professor Hernán Porras Díaz, Engineer Iván Rojas and the site residents.
“The work of the Faculty of Health is progressing satisfactorily, they are already in the finishing stage, which is quite demanding. We hope to deliver it in 2025”, said Dr. Barrera.
During the visit, the spaces destined for laboratories, auditorium, main façade, elevators and offices were toured. It was explained that the appearance of an electrocardiogram was the inspiration for the construction of the building. The materials used, their strength and durability were also discussed.
