Student Welfare of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) informs that registration for the student canteen service for the academic period 2025-1 will be open from January 27 to 31, 2025. This process is aimed at active students and will be carried out exclusively through the university’s website.
As established in Agreement 094 of 2016 of the UIS Superior Council and its modification through Agreement 007 of 2017, 1,000 slots will be available for breakfast, 2,500 for lunch and 2,064 for dinner.
How to register.
To register, students must follow these steps:
Go to the university’s website.
Access the following path: Student / Student System / Undergraduate / Student Welfare Services / Dining Services / Registration.
Select the desired service: breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a combination of these.
Once the registration process is completed, students will receive a confirmation e-mail with the dates on which they should check if they have been awarded the service.
The selection of beneficiaries will be made by the Student Welfare team, considering the established requirements and user categories, such as:
Priority users.
First level users.
Students in situations of academic vulnerability.
Members of cultural groups and sports teams.
Medical interns and students in assistance practices.
Academic exchange users.
Other users.
The canteen service will start operating on February 3, 2025 for those students who were awarded the benefit.
Registration for dining hall and cafeteria assistantships
Additionally, from February 1 to 3, 2025, registration for the dining hall and cafeteria assistantships will be available, also through the university’s web page. The route to register is:
Student / Student System / Presential Undergraduate / Student Welfare Services / Canteen Service / Auxiliary Registration.
In accordance with Agreement 006 of 2017 of the UIS Superior Council, these auxiliaturas are directed exclusively to students who registered for the canteen service, but were not awarded the benefit.
