As part of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Civil Engineering Program, the School of Civil Engineering received the visit and participation of Professor Ricardo Mercado, director of the Department and the Civil Engineering Program of the University of Monterrey.
Professor Mercado participated as a speaker in the conference: “Building tomorrow: contributions of Civil Engineering to the challenges of human settlements and the environment”, with his talk: “Engineers of the future”, part of the commemoration events of the program.
In the same way, a space for conversation was generated with Professor Liliana Castro, Director of External Relations UIS, and with the accompaniment of Professor Guillermo Mejía, attached to the School of Civil Engineering, to formalize future academic agreements between the UIS and the University of Monterrey.
