Remember that, by obtaining the renewal, the University strengthens the culture of high quality, consolidates the culture of self-evaluation and continuous improvement for better levels of quality, and demonstrates to the State and society the fulfillment, with high quality, of institutional achievements.
With the objective of having an approach in this process, students are called to the meeting with the Academic Peer Commission, which will be held this Thursday, February 24, at 3:30 p.m. in the Aula Maxima of the School of Mechanical Engineering.
Among the stages of the institutional accreditation process is the self-evaluation, an exercise of review, recognition, reflection and intervention carried out by the UIS on itself, with the participation of the university community, and the external evaluation, which is the assessment made by academic peers, based on the self-evaluation report and the visit made to the institution.
There is also a comprehensive evaluation, which is the assessment of the high quality of the institution carried out by the National Accreditation Council (CNA) based on the results of the self-evaluation and the external evaluation. The stage of the process ends with the issuance of recognition, which is the issuance of the administrative act of accreditation by the Ministerio de Educación Nacional (Ministerio de Educación Nacional (MEN), based on the concept of the CNA.
