With the talk ‘The untold story of science’, continues the special program to commemorate the Month of Women and the Girl in Science at the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS).
This activity will be held on Friday, February 18, starting at 4:00 p. m. in the Aula Máxima of the Faculty of Sciences and will be led by physicist Jennifer Grisales Casadiegos.
“We will make a reconstruction of the historical narrative of science, revealing the role of women who laid the foundations of modern science,” she said.
The space is aimed at higher education students, high school students and the community in general. Please note that the event will only be in-person modality.
Among the activities, the workshop ‘Brief, very brief introduction to computer vision’ is also scheduled. This will be held on Saturday, February 19, at the Center for Information and Communication Technologies (Centic) of the UIS and will be led by Professor Rocio Mojica.
