Ecopetrol has opened its call for internships for university students who wish to strengthen their academic training through the strategy of learning by doing. The call will be available until May 1 and offers 120 places nationwide.
The internships are aimed at students seeking to apply and develop the skills acquired in their theoretical training in a real work environment. During the process, those selected will assume tasks under high standards of quality, confidentiality and efficiency, in compliance with internal regulations and current legislation.
“We are offering 120 positions nationwide, which is where we have the company’s macro operation, which would be in Villavicencio, Barrancabermeja, Cartagena, Bogota and the production fields of Meta, Casanare, Huila, Putumayo and Santander. The internship is 100% face-to-face, the work schedule is from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a remuneration of one million 992 thousand pesos and the contract is an apprenticeship contract”, informed Laura Ruiz Rodríguez, leader of the selection process on behalf of Ecopetrol.

The selection process is virtual, note that Ecopetrol never charges for participation in a selection process, medical examinations or other recruitment procedures, nor does it establish agreements, agreements or alliances with individuals for intermediation or representation in hiring processes.
“From the UIS they have support in the process thanks to the schools, the Office of External Relations and the Institutional Alumni Program. It is important to follow the instructions and comply with the requirements, for example being an active student,” said David León Esteban, a professional from the UIS External Relations Office.
