The professor community of LA-CoNGA physics recently received the group of students from Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela enrolled in the second cohort that will take place this year. More than 100 Latin Americans applied to the call for applications, who underwent a selection process, according to the level of training required to receive the graduate courses in Advanced Physics.
In this opportunity, the community is mainly integrated by the group from Ecuador, with students from Universidad de Yachay; followed by Colombia, with students from Universidad Industrial de Santander and Universidad Nacional, and finally the groups of students from Peru, with Universidad Nacional de San Marcos, and Venezuela, with students from Universidad Central de Venezuela and Universidad Simón Bolívar.
As guest students, the project included a group from Universidad Nacional (Colombia), Escuela Superior Politécnica del Chimborazo (Ecuador) and Universidad Nacional de Honduras.
One of the main objectives of LA-CoNGA physics is to strengthen the training experience in advanced physics shared with eleven universities on two continents. https://laconga.redclara.net/comenzo-a-sonar-la-segunda-cohorte
