With the presence of Mauricio Lizcano, Minister of Information and Communication Technologies, the launch of Talento Tech was held. This is a training program that seeks to prepare the country’s new talents in advanced digital skills. The event took place in the Luis A. Calvo auditorium, UIS central campus.
Talento Tech, aimed at Colombians of legal age, promotes the participation of women, rural and vulnerable people from strata 1, 2 and 3 who wish to be trained in soft skills, English and project development.
“The UIS is an ally of the MinTic since previous times with the ICT Missions and now we have the launch of Talento Tech, a set of trainings for students from high school to professionals in very important areas such as data analytics, new technologies and blockchain; naturally the UIS will be attentive as an ally of the Ministry,” reported Daniel Sierra Bueno, UIS academic vice rector.
