From January 17 to February 28, 2022, the public call for the professorial tender that will select professors for the Universidad Industrial de Santander will be open.
If you aspire to be a professor at the institution, remember that you must assume, with commitment and full awareness of your ethical and social responsibility, the role of guide of the learning process that supports the integral formation of students, according to the Pedagogical Model.
This model defines an agreement between professors, students, directors, and other servants of the institution, on the principles and the way of executing the educational process at UIS.
In line with the institutional project, the university will hire professors who have a high quality of ethical, political, and professional training; who are governed by democratic principles; who allow and encourage critical reflection, the free exercise of the professorship, and interdisciplinary work and are interested in keeping up to date with the dynamics of the external world.
There are more than 28 vacancies per school in the tender. For your application, you must submit the letter of application for participation, the curriculum vitae in the form established by the University, academic degrees, the consultation form of inabilities law 1918 of 2018, and certificates of experience, refresher courses, and foreign language proficiency.
