In order to guarantee timely and quality attention to users, the Specialized Health Unit (UISALUD), together with the Information Services Division (DSI) of the Universidad Industrial de Santander, developed a new web-based clinical history software, which includes different modules that are integrated online.
It is an innovative and agile tool developed and supported by the company, which allows for the permanent incorporation of updates and improvements, while facilitating the notification of the user by e-mail of the information generated in the different care processes.
In view of the adjustments made, it is necessary to take into account the following considerations:
Given that any type of authorization will be sent to the e-mail address registered by the user in the UISALUD database, it is essential that the user accesses the Data Update link on the UISALUD web page https://www.uis.edu.co/unidadSaludAfiliado/login.seam and verifies the information registered. In case changes are required, update the data (every time there is something new, it is up to the user to carry out this task).
For the transcription of formulas, the user must accredit the supporting documents corresponding to:

The formulas will be authorized for the time period they have been prescribed by the treating professional, with monthly dispensing, without requiring a new transcription, and the user may present himself/herself at the pharmacy within 5 days prior to the expiration of the next delivery.
For the request of referrals and procedures, the presentation of the respective support is required. Once the review and analysis of each request is completed, UISALUD will proceed to send the institutional authorization to the e-mails of the user and the service provider.
At this moment, we are moving forward in the implementation and adjustment phases of the new software, with the objective of guaranteeing the timely provision of our services and optimizing, even more, the communication channels.
