In order to establish contact with representatives of the tourism sector and analyze marketing strategies, promotion, analysis and potential of the tourism offer of the region, as well as the stands visited, students of the Tourism program of the UIS Socorro Campus, participated in Anato (Asociación Colombiana de Agencias de Viajes y Turismo).

This important event, considered the most important tourism showcase in the country, in its 41st version, was hosted by the department of Santander.

This important event brings together companies, travel agencies, hotels, government agencies, the National Tourism Fund (Fontur), among other guilds that represent this important sector of the economy worldwide. “I think Anato is a great experience in which we can interact and exchange business ideas with agencies and hotels, among other tourism products, also managing to capture the different business visions of different countries and even agencies in our own region. We also take with us the experience of the cultural exchange that we have in our own country”, said Paula Ximena Espitia, student of the Professional Tourism academic program at the UIS Socorro Campus.
