The Universidad Industrial de Santander invites the entire community of Bucaramanga and the metropolitan area to celebrate six years of the cultural program Vecinos y Amigos, in which art, recreation, sports, science, technology and health, among others, are combined for the use and enjoyment of free time in a natural and architectural environment of the university campus.
Since February 21, 2016, the UIS started this wonderful program seeking to contribute to the transformation of the social fabric of the city. Such is the success of the program that every Sunday increases the number of families who attend the university campus with their bicycles, skates or pets in a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a very wide range of possibilities for entertainment and fun.
With the leadership of the Cultural Direction of the UIS, the support of Financiera Comultrasan, important allies such as the Cultural Center of the Bank of the Republic of Bucaramanga, regional artists, various cultural and social entities, every Sunday visitors find a new agenda of activities to enjoy in the different scenarios and outdoor spaces offered by the University.
