Women in the Colombian Association of Biological Sciences’ is the name of the activity with which this Friday, February 25th will continue the commemoration of the Month of Women and Girls in Science at the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS).

The aim is to generate an academic space for interaction between researchers and university students in order to encourage the participation of women in decision making.

Claudia Garnica Díaz, Laura Cabanzo, Laury Roa Fuentes, Patricia Landázuri, Lina Moreno, Beatriz Mojica, among other scientists, will participate in the event.

The program is divided into two parts. The first will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the second at 2:00 p.m. Everything will take place in the Aula Maxima of the Faculty of Sciences and through the Zoom platform.
