From January 17 to 21, 2022 is open the call for the election process for the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS). The person elected will hold this position for a period of two years.
The invitation is for professors of the Faculty of Sciences who meet the requirements and wish to apply, to register by emailing sgeneral@uis.edu.co from their institutional email account, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Registration requirements:
To be a professional with a degree in the corresponding area of knowledge.
To have a postgraduate degree.
To be an associate or full professor of the University. Have excelled in the academic, research and professional fields.
To have at least two (2) years of administrative experience.
In the communication, the candidate must express his/her free and informed will to register as a candidate.
On January 25th, 2022, the General Secretariat will verify and communicate to the members of the Council of the Faculty of Sciences, the fulfillment of the regulatory requirements of each of the registered candidates. On February 4th, 2022, the candidates who were previously evaluated by the Council of the Faculty of Sciences will be presented, in alphabetical order, to the Rector of the University.
