Great job opportunity for Misión TIC 2022 graduates!

If you are bilingual with experience in coding and creating technological solutions, you can apply for the virtual job fair ‘Tech Career Fest’. The call for applications is open until March 31th, through the technology development platform Publicis Groupe.

This space is a great opportunity for graduates who are beneficiaries of the Misión TIC 2022 program to have access to the labor market, taking into account the training received during the program, which aims to train 100,000 programmers.

“The digital transformation means that companies are increasingly looking for programmer profiles or according to the needs of the fourth industrial revolution and this fair is an opportunity for beneficiaries who have already completed Misión TIC 2022 or for those who have experience and can get a job and grow professionally,” said Carmen Ligia Valderrama, Minister of Information Technology and Communications, ICT.

The fair has 150 job openings available. Applicants are required to have experience of 3 years and above in: Backend, Frontend and QA (QA Automation or Functional QA), skills in Java, .Net, PHP and have knowledge in frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, to work remotely with teams located in Colombia, Costa Rica, Argentina, Mexico, United States, Europe and Asia.

Free talks

Those who participate in the fair will have access to free talks with topics and participation of international spokespersons, among which the following stand out:

March 23th – Is this web page efficient: experts will analyze the most common mistakes in the development of web pages and will provide some tools to help evaluate, diagnose and solve problems. Some ideas for improving overall performance will also be given, showing before and after tests.

March 30th – Session with the recruitment team: participants of the fair will be able to clarify their concerns regarding the PGD recruitment process.
