Eighth session: how is it living in Bucaramanga today?

This Thursday, February 3rd, the activity of the Low Maus Chair 2021-2 Bucaramanga 400 years: history, culture and society continues. After the previous approaches to literary, sports and artistic expressions, this time the session will focus on understanding the living conditions in our city from the analysis of socioeconomic and health indicators.

The guest speakers on this occasion are Yany León, UIS economist who worked in the Bucaramanga Cómo Vamos program until 2020 and is currently linked to the Center for Research in Culture and Society of the Faculty of Human Sciences, and Laura Rodríguez, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Health attached to the Faculty of Health and who participated as academic coordinator of the Situation Rooms of COVID-19 in Santander.

The session will be held in-person modality for the UIS community at the Ágora auditorium of the Faculty of Human Sciences from 3 to 6 PM. In addition, it will have virtual transmission for the general public through the institutional Facebook www.facebook.com/uisenlinea.
