The Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) informs its students that registrations for the canteen service corresponding to the academic period 2025-1 will be enabled from Monday, January 27 to Friday, January 31, 2025, exclusively through the university’s website.
In accordance with Agreement 094 of 2016 and its modification through Agreement 007 of 2017 of the UIS Superior Council, the following quotas will be available:
1,000 for breakfast.
2,500 for lunch.
2,064 for dinner.
How to enroll?
The process is simple and consists of the following steps:
- Log in to the university website.
- Go to: Student / Student System / Undergraduate / Student Welfare Services / Dining Services / Registration.
- Select the desired service: breakfast, lunch, dinner or a combination of these.
Once you have completed the registration process, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the dates on which you should check if you have been awarded the service.
Requirements and award criteria
The allocation of quotas will be in charge of the Student Welfare professionals, following the criteria established in the following categories:
Priority users.
First level users.
Students in situations of academic vulnerability.
Members of cultural groups and sports teams.
Medical interns and students in assistance practices.
Academic exchange users.
Other users.
The canteen service will be available as of Monday, February 3, 2025 for students who obtain the benefit.
