Students interested in the canteen service corresponding to the FIRST academic semester of 2022 and who consider to be in SITUATION OF ACADEMIC VULNERABILITY, according to the criteria established in Agreement No. 094 of October 14, 2016 of the Superior Council, must make the study request through the website www.uis.edu.co in the student section.
Steps to follow to register the application:

ALL SEMESTERS MUST REGISTER FOR THE VULNERABILITY STUDY AND ALSO FOR THE CANTEEN SERVICE ON THE SCHEDULED DATES AGREED UPON BY THE ACADEMIC COUNCIL.

USER IN A SITUATION OF ACADEMIC VULNERABILITY: These are students who, due to family, economic or social circumstances, are at risk of losing their status as undergraduate students due to poor academic performance.
The student must meet and duly certify one of the following vulnerability criteria in order to request a case study by professionals from the Health and Psychosocial Development Section.
REMEMBER THAT IT IS IMPORTANT TO ENROLL ACCORDING TO THE CRITERIA YOU MEET AND HAVE THE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS OF YOUR STUDY SITUATION.
VULNERABILITY SITUATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
⦁ Student with a diagnosis of malnutrition endorsed by the Health and Psychosocial Development Section.
Required Documents:
– Certificate issued by the Health and Psychosocial Development Section. (Valid for no more than 6 months)

⦁ Family Economic Unit (U.E.F.) lacking linkage to the social security system in the contributory regime (non-contributing father and mother).
Required Documents:
– Current certificate of linkage to the subsidized regime through ADRES or RUAF, of the father and mother and/or certificate of linkage of father and mother in the contributory regime with type of affiliate “beneficiary”, Certificate with a maximum effective date of three days prior to their enrollment of vulnerability study.
– Civil registry of the student where the names of the parents appear.
– Photocopy of the father’s and mother’s identity card.
– Death certificate of the parents if applicable.
– Separation of parents or abandonment, attach any of the following supports:
⦁ Public deed of dissolution of the conjugal partnership or family court judgment specifying the alimony quota.
⦁ Minutes of conciliation before an entity authorized by law, in which the alimony quota is established.
⦁ Certificate of non-conciliation, where the provisional alimony quota is fixed.
⦁ Maintenance claim or complaint for food non-attendance (current status of the process in the last six months).

⦁ Parent deceased within the last year.

– Civil registration of death.

⦁ Parent deprived of liberty.
Required Documents:
– Certificate issued by the competent authority, (Penitentiary and prison establishment Validity no longer than 30 days).

⦁ Students orphaned by both parents.
Required Documents:
– Civil registration of death of father and mother.
– Civil registry of the student where the name of the parents appears.

⦁ Member of the Family Economic Unit U.E.F. who suffers from a high cost disease. (According to Resolution 3974 of 2009 Ministry of Social Protection) (These are: 1. Cervical cancer 2. Breast cancer 3. Stomach cancer 4. Prostate cancer 6. Acute lymphoid leukemia 7. Acute myeloid leukemia 8. Hodgkin’s lymphoma 9. Non-hodgkin’s lymphoma 10. Epilepsy 11. Rheumatoid arthritis 12.HIV-AIDS)
Required Documents:
-Copy medical history (not older than 6 months) from the E.P.S. of the member of the Family Economic Unit U.E.F. up to the second degree of consanguinity (parents, children, siblings, grandparents and grandchildren) who suffers from any of the diseases listed in this criterion.
-Civil registry of the related person in the medical history.
-Civil registry of the student to prove kinship.
Paragraph: for the cases of UEF members who do not have a blood relationship with the student, the social work professional will review each particular situation.

⦁U.E.F. member who needs permanent home care.
Required Documents:
– Copy of medical history (not older than 6 months) from the E.P.S. of the member of the Family Economic Unit U.E.F. up to the second degree of consanguinity (parents, children, siblings, grandparents and grandchildren) who suffers from any disease(s) and requires in-home caregiver.
– Civil registry of the person related in the medical history.
-Civil registry of the student to prove relationship.
Paragraph: for the cases of UEF members who do not have a blood relationship with the student, the social work professional will review each particular situation.

⦁Students who are single mothers or single fathers, with dependent children and live with them while studying at the University.
Required Documents:
– Civil Registration of the child.
– Certificate of non-conciliation, where the provisional alimony quota is fixed or alimony claim / complaint for food non-attendance (current status of the process in the last six months, issued by the competent authority).

⦁ Students linked to the state strategy for overcoming extreme poverty, Red Unidos.
Required Documents:
– Certificate of linkage Red Unidos of the student, father and mother do not apply (Validity no longer than 6 months.).

⦁ Indigenous peoples, Afro-Colombians or Afro-descendants, Raizal and Roma (Gypsy community).
Required Documents:
-Certification of the student as an active member of the population Indigenous peoples, Afro-Colombians or Afro-descendants, Raizal and Roma (Roma community), issued by the Ministry of the Interior. (Valid for no more than 6 months).

Additionally, this type of user must comply with the following requirements:
⦁Paying tuition up to I S.M.M.M.L.V., without taking into account the discounts that for different concepts the University makes.
⦁Having a minimum of eleven (11) approved credits.
⦁Having a minimum of eleven (11) credits or degree project II enrolled in the semester in which the service is requested.
⦁Not having a disciplinary sanction in force.
⦁Not having enjoyed the service for more than ten academic semesters.
⦁Not having a student part-time job of more than I S.M.M.M.L.V. for the academic semester.
