The Carlos Gaviria Díaz Legal Clinic of the School of Law and Political Science of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) invites the university community to participate in the discussion entitled “Vicarious violence, a look from the approach with a gender perspective”. This event will be held next Tuesday, March 18 at 9:30 a.m. in the Agora of the Faculty of Human Sciences.
This event seeks to generate a space for reflection and analysis on vicarious violence, a phenomenon that affects many families and requires an interdisciplinary approach for its understanding and prevention. The activity is designed to promote dialogue and awareness of this social problem, inviting attendees to actively participate in the discussion.
The discussion will include the participation of leading experts in the field of human rights and gender-based violence. Among the guests are Thereza Valencia, recognized expert in human rights; Paola Silva, professor at the UIS; and Marcela Ríos, specialist in clinical psychology and interdisciplinary intervention in gender violence.
The university community is expected to join this important initiative, which aims to promote gender equality and respect for the rights of all people. Admission is free and everyone is encouraged to attend and contribute to the conversation.
