UIS students, won first place in the Global Game Jam

Winners Global Game Jam

Five UIS students from different academic programs, and a graduate of the Audiovisual Arts program UNAB, participated in the Global Game Jam. It is the largest videogame creation event in the world. It is an international, annual, collaborative event in which participants try to create video games from scratch.
The team called “Frutiger Team” represented Bucaramanga on January 24, 25 and 26, 2025. The challenge consisted of creating a video game in 48 hours with a specific theme. The challenge they achieved and made them worthy of first place, with the game entitled “Bubble Memory”.

Locally, this event was organized by Dreams Uncorporated and co-organized by Fryos Studios. In turn, it was sponsored by the Bucaramanga Chamber of Commerce, ClústerTI Santader, S-Innova (Santander Innova),
