IPRED to hold an induction day for 900 new students

The Institute of Regional Projection and Distance Education (IPRED) will welcome nearly 900 new students of the Technical, Technological and Professional Programs with an induction day on Friday, February 7 and Saturday, February 8. This event, designed to facilitate the adaptation and integration of the new members to university life, will offer a varied program of informative, educational and cultural activities.

Students will be able to participate virtually, but there will also be face-to-face activities at the UIS Barbosa Campus and the Student Assistance Center (CAE) San Alberto on Saturday. The induction will be formally conducted in two sessions; however, it will be extended until March 7, ensuring that new students have all the necessary tools to start their academic journey successfully and feel an active part of the university community.

Friday, February 07:

– 5:30 p.m.- Registration of attendance.

– 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. – Welcome by the Deputy Academic Director

– 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Talk ‘Vive la UIS #LaUISQueQueremos’ by Carlos Alberto Villarreal.

Saturday, February 08:

– 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. – Attendance registration
