The Language Institute of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) informs the educational community that, as of Thursday, December 19, 2024, it will suspend the offer of services to the public at its headquarters, as well as at the head campus and at the Floridablanca campus. This decision responds to the recess of the university’s academic-administrative activities, a period that has become a tradition at the UIS to allow students and administrative staff to enjoy a well-deserved rest during the end-of-year festivities.
The institution thanks the student community for their achievements throughout the year, highlighting the effort and dedication they have shown in their learning process. The Language Institute, known for its commitment to teaching and developing communicative skills in various languages, has been a fundamental pillar for many students seeking to improve their language skills.
“We wish a Merry Christmas to everyone” states Laura Dueñas, Director of the Language Institute, a gesture that reinforces the bond the Institute maintains with its students. The Language Institute’s services are scheduled to resume on January 18, 2025, when the community will be able to make consultations, enrollments and other requests.
