In the men’s division, Colombia beat Paraguay 3-0 in their debut and in the last round they played against Chile.

“It is a nice experience to represent Colombia in the Games, we have had good attention and very beautiful coliseums and more than having an experience of playing a South American representing my country at my 13 years old, it is something very satisfying,” said Matias Ceballos Bedoya, captain of the Colombian National Team.

The South American School Games 2024 will be held in Bucaramanga until December 8 and 1,764 people will participate, including athletes between the ages of 12 and 14, coaches, delegates and officials.

These games are organized by the South American Sports Council (Consude) on an annual basis since 1991 and are the highest South American school event that contributes to the development of sports, culture and exchange among young people from the 10 participating nations.
